Mrs Lockwood

Mrs Lockwood is the Headteacher here at 'The Beacon' .   She has been here since April 2007.  She has 2 children of her own, likes travelling and often does the Christmas Day swim!

Mrs Douglas

Mrs Douglas is the Senior teacher.  She also coordinates RE and French.  She teaches year 3.

Mrs Haynes & Mrs Barnard

Mrs Haynes and Mrs Barnard are the school administrators.  They are both very kind and welcoming. 

Mrs Lawson

Mrs Lawson teaches a mixed year 5 and 6 class.  She coordinates literacy and music in the school. 

Ms Hubble

Ms Hubble coordinates Maths throughout the school.  She teaches a mixed year 5 and 6 class.

Mrs Hogan

Mrs Hogan is the year 1/2 teacher.  She is also the SENCo (Special Needs coordinator) and the Art coordinator. 

Mrs Devin

Mrs Devin is the Reception class teacher.  She also coordinates EAL (English as an additional language).

Mrs Pow

Mrs Pow teaches year 4.  She is ICT coordinator  (Information Communication Technology) and PE coordinator.

Mrs Briggs

Mrs Briggs teaches throughout the school.  She is our Science and PSHE coordinator (personal, social and health education).

Mrs Hambly

Mrs Hambly is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.   She works throughout the school.

Mrs Nelmes

Mrs Nelmes teaches in years 5 and 6.  She is responsible for the school library.

Mrs Thorn

Mrs Thorn works in the Foundation class.  

Mr Gilroy

Mr Gilroy works in year 6 providing learning support.   He is a lunch time play leader and organises sports.

Mrs Bartlett

Mrs Bartlett is a learning support assistant working across the whole school.   She also looks after us at lunch time.

Ms Mountfield

Ms Mountford helps in 3D.  She looks after us in the dinner hall.

Ms Rosser

Ms Rosser helps in 2B and  also at lunchtime.

Mrs Green, Ms Archer, Mrs Morris, Mrs Brice

We have lots of  Meal time assistants who work with us at lunch time to keep us safe and happy. 

Mrs Neill & Mrs Harcus 

Mrs Neill cooks greats dinners.  They are very tasty and healthy.  Mrs Harcus is really important as she keeps the school clean and helps with cooking.  

Mr Cox & Mr Oliver

Mr Cox is our caretaker.  He keeps the school tidy and safe.  Mr Oliver is our Crossing Patrol.
