School Council

 

We have an active school council who are very involved in the school's decision making.  Each class elects two pupils to represent their thoughts and ideas. 

Activities that the school council have been involved in range from producing a waste action plan (which resulted in improved recycling) to interviewing for the headteacher post.  Some of the school council will also be appearing in a national magazine telling the story of their interviewing experience!

Pupil Questionnaires

 

In January/February 2008, our pupils completed questionnaires to let us know what they thought about the school.   The questions are based on the Every Child Matters Agenda.

I delighted that the vast majority think they are taught well.  There are however areas which we now think need improvement, for example increased opportunities for KS2 pupils to be involved in enterprise projects.

Please take a look at the results below for our infants (KS1) and juniors (KS2).

We plan to repeat these on an annual basis to monitor our progress and provision from our pupils' point of view!
