The Beacon Church of England (VA) Primary
Sports Day Fun
A very successful sports day was shared this year as our pupils demonstrated their ever improving skills to parents and friends. The afternoon began with all children being involved in a rotation of sporting activities and team events. These were enjoyed by all before pupils undertook the more competitive races. All year groups were involved in sprint races before our junior children took part in the 'marathons'. This extremely challenging
event highlighted the stamina and fitness of many of our pupils and also the good sporting nature of spectators and competitors as they encouraged and supported each other. Well done everybody. This was a fantastic afternoon!
Ofsted Inspection success
'EXMOUTH'S
Sporting Champions - football & tennis! After displaying great skills, teamwork and sportsmanship, our year 5 & 6 boys have become the Exmouth Area Football Champions! We have also been crowned the 'Keep it Going' tennis champs. Our pupils were able to demonstrate their good skills and win tennis lessons for the school.
'Maths in motion' winners
Our year 6 mathematicians have taken both first and second places at an Exmouth Area schools competition, organised by Exmouth Community College. What an achievement! Well done everyone!
